Control Models

Control mock-ups are tools, usually used in the design and testing phases of a particular system or product, where a model or prototype of the actual product is built. These mock-ups are used to evaluate the accuracy and functional performance of the design. Control mock-ups usually provide:

Visual Evaluation of Design: Models provide a visual reference for designers and engineers by clearly presenting the physical dimensions, shape and appearance of a product or system.

Functionality Tests: Mock-ups can simulate specific functions of the product or system. This allows the functionality, assembly and performance of the design to be tested.

Prototype Testing: Control mock-ups act as a prototype, showing how it will work in real life or how a system will function. This allows to identify points where the design needs to be improved or changed.

Educational Use: Control mock-ups can be used for training of personnel. In particular, simulations can be used to learn how to use complex systems or machines.
